The process of disbursing the one billion naira loan scheme facilitated by Ogun State Government in collaboration with the Bank of Industry will soon commence as arrangements have been concluded to disburse funds to over 100 small and medium scale applicants.
The Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Otunba Bimbo Ashiru stated this at the just concluded Investors’ Forum in Abeokuta.
He said this was part of the State Government’s effort to create wealth, generate employment and energize small scale businesses in the State.
Otunba Ashiru disclosed that arrangement for repayment had been made easy as interest payable remained in single digit and assured that the loan scheme would be increased to N2 billion if beneficiaries adhere to repayment requirement.
He warned that the Government would not tolerate defaulters who failed to comply with the loan criteria. |
