News - Twenty-five Sports for this Year’s National Sports Festival in Lagos

Twenty-five sports are to be competed for during this year’s National Sports Festival, tagged “Lagos 2012”.

Notable among them are Football, Basketball, Badminton, Boxing, Lawn Tennis, Table-Tennis, Weightlifting, Wrestling, Chess, Judo, Karate, Taekwondo and Special sports.

Five sports that were not competed for during the last edition in Port-Harcourt have however been re-introduced.

They are Scrabble, Squash, Kung-fu, Kick-Boxing and Deaf Athletics.
